INSUNA - Melodic Metal band from Cardiff, Wales, UK.
INSUNA got an impressive success after their first gig outside of South Wales at the annual Female Fronted band festival THE DAMES OF DARKNESS in May 2015 in Midlands, UK.
INSUNA believe in writing intelligent, honest and dynamic music trying to never cut corners on the quality of their songs. The aim of the band is to write original songs with emphasis on both melody and heaviness and to keep pushing themselves musically.
Always happy to help other bands and promoters and support the music scene, they have been building an extensive network of contacts to allow them to push further afield on the live circuit and hence reach even more potential fans. They have shared the stage with many acts including TRIAXIS, SKARLETT RIOT and LEAVE’S EYES.
The band was founded by drummer Dave and guitarist Liam back in 2006 in Cardiff, South Wales, UK. In 2009 It took it’s final shape as INSUNA , bringing on board Estonian A.K. on vocal and half-Peruvian Chris on guitars (now also a main songwriter) .
With Rich on bass, as the final piece of the puzzle, INSUNA in 2010 started it’s existence by taking South Wales under their control! With some changes in the band and despite being part-time band, INSUNA continues to bring their passion to their gigs and share it with the crowd.
Currently INSUNA is working on their debut album that is due to be released in 2018
